In B'ham, have phoned me and offered me a pretty decent contract. Problem
is, I've never heard of them before. So I'm drawing on anyones past and
present expieriences with them before I commit. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't deal with anyone who cold called me.
There's an old saying - if it seems to be too good to be true, it probably
is.

Yes that saying is often true, however I got my house re glazed about 2
years ago from a cold call and at the lowest price I could find. So cold
call offers are sometimes worthwhile. However I do my homework first. So I
take it you don't know of them? Tried a google for them and couldn't find
them

Did they call you out of the blue, and sound like they were in India?

Do you normally buy things from people who ring you up out of the blue?
If so then give me your number!
It's probably nothing that you can't get off a high street store. Ask
yourself this - "what do I do if it goes tits up - where can I go for
help?"

I got their number, the staff's id number and their adress. I haven't
brought anything yet. As I've said I'm doing my homework. Still no one has
mentioned any past dealings with them though!

Are you surprised? Seems that nobody here has been willing to take the
chance. In fact, isnt it a bit suspicious that you cant find them on the
web?
What was the deal? Which network? What is their address?
I had the "same" call a while ago, cant remember the company though, but
I did find them on the web, along with hundreds of complaints. The offer
was too good to be true and I declined politely a couple of times and,
when they called me back later the same day, I told them where to get
off!

I'm not the best googler though.

T mobile moto razor and a substantial amount of xnet minutes and texts. They
were based in B'ham on/off broad street

I cant find them either.... best I can do is:
http://www.uk-telco.co.uk/index.htm
but they dont look like a company who would cold call, and they're not
off broad St.
What's the full address - it doesnt need to be a secret, does it?
>> What was the deal? Which network? What is their address?
Probably a 3 deal. They seem to give zillions of minutes for not much
money.

Cant really remember. Just recall googling for them and finding a
mobile phone complaints site which was full of them. Sorry I cant tell
you more. ISTR they were related to delivery of wrong, (cheaper),
phones, none payment of cashback, and delayed delivery of phones.
Why dont you see if you can get a similar deal from someone more
transparent?

Why do you say it is special? For all you know it could be 1000 mins and
texts for £3 a month.
