Re: PAC codes, porting, and 12 month contracts (on Orange)
not totally relevent but may be of interest.
I have a 12 month cashback deal with Mobileshop giving me totatly free
line rental after the cashback - should be £30 per month. Anyway I am
about two months into the deal and got an email today from them
offering me £220 now which would make the cashbak vouchers void. Nice
idea but I will wait the full time and get the full £360 over the 4
payments.

Quite a few people have had this email from Mobileshop. Personally,
despite having a couple of cashback deals with them, I haven't.
I wonder what criteria they use to pick who they are going to make the
offer to. Personally, I won't accept it as I am confident that I have
the mechanism in place to return the bills at the appropriate times.
