I'm not getting wrong numbers like you but am getting weird
messages saying they "might" stop my service soon and saying it's
"probably" due to my credit card.

When I checked my credit cards on 18866/1899 I see they don't
expire till 2008 and all invoices have been paid without problem.

I only seem to get this "watch out" message if I dial my usual
0808 1707474/08081707788 access numbers on my landline and then
wait long enough for a prompt.

OTOH if I enter my destination number before they start their
    warning then I get connected.

Sounds like a glitch. It will probably be a second glitch which
actaully bars me from their service in a day or two!

These folks seem to have some very unstable systems. They seem to
    have so many glitches.

You do tend to get what you pay for with a bargain basement service
and such foibles have to be suffered. You do at least still have the
option of routing a call via BT if you need better service.
