Hello. A few weeks ago, i bought a second hand samsung e730. It had
some scratches on the main screen. Not very deep but superficial
scratches, like it had scraped against a brick wall. The scratches were
only visible if the screen was dark.
To remove the scratches, i decided to give Displex a try. At first, it
seemed to work well. The lightest scratches disappeared and the screen
started to shine like new. Furthermore, the deeper scratches seemed far
less deep. Then i turned on my phone and i startled. With a light
background, the remaines of the scratches diffracted the light so the
scratches were far more appearent then before! I decided to Displex my
screen again, but the effect GOT WORSE!
What am i doing wrong? I polish with a clean soft cloth, used to clean
glasses. I clear my screen before and after polishing with Displex.
How can i counter effect the diffractions? I now have placed a screen
cover on my screen. This suppresses the diffraction a bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jasper
