Re: Orange SMTP server
OK -
POP now working
SMTP working as long as 'from' address is one of your orange.net email
addresses - 'reply-to' can be set to any other email address.
Texts are working again, and regardless of if you receive mail
forwarded from another email address (which hadn't been working for a
few years).
Orange cs replied to my email saying that my settings must be all
wrong. Thanks Orange.

Agreed. But the recipient is just as likely to use the orange.net address
for replies as the reply to.

I had been successfully receiving mail forwarded to my orange.net address
from another domain for a couple of years.

I had an email inviting me to call their customer services. Why do they
provide a page so that you can email them support questions if they have no
intention of answering using that medium?
Oh well.

Same here, the only reason I retain the Orange address is for that, in
order to get the SMS alerts.
