i just want to warn everyone to stay away from these guys. i ordered
the 6230i on orange from them. far from next day delivery they sent it
out on the 3rd day after i ordered. ok so late deliveries happen, royal
    mail sucks, yada yada...fair enough.

BUT INSTEAD OF MY ORDERED PHONE (6230i) I RECIEVED A 7360!!! PLUS IT's
NOT EVEN FROM COOLNEWMOBILE!! it turns out they are not a company onto
themselves...on the contract i got, coolnew isn't mentioned anywhere on
the contract or papers...instead its all with someone call 'vanilla
    mobile'....

after trying desperately to call coolnew i was told to call
vanilla....now it gets interesting....vanilla is owned or affiliated
with e2save.com which is run by carphonewarehouse....getting dizzy
    yet?....anyway i've called vanilla about a 100 times....no answer....it
seems the lone customer assistant is drunk passed out in the
basement...on my 101st try after waiting for 45 minutes i finally got
through to someone...to whom i explained my situation....i was told i
will be be called back once the supervisor gets in...that was a 5 days
ago and im still waiting....no answers to subsequent calls to
vanilla....coolnew have washed their hands of the matter...n im stuck
    in no man's land....

in the end i think i'll just cancel my DD and keep the phone.*****ew
    'em.....

point of my ramblings...stay away from coolnewmobile.....they are a
    scam..

Send the handset back by Special Delviery, and inform Orange that you
have done so. Keeping the handset means that you have to pay.

jonny boy...that's exactly y i was trying to call them...to send it
back...i don't want a cashback contract out from someone who cant even
manage the initial delivery right. you'll be happy to know they now
have the phone back...i got through to them after a long time and was
told they will call be back with return reference number...waited 2
days for that and then got a text message on my other phone saying and
i quote, "please send you phone back to this address:" followed by an
address. no ref num or anything. well i did send it off, bearing the
return delivery cost myself. no reply from them, no confirmation that
they got it back. i assume they got it back. in the end all my dealings
with coolnewmobile ended with me losing the return money and time, not
to mention the considerable damage to my sanity ...i would still
    advice against using them
