Samsung S300

I'm trying to reset my Samsung S300, to give it to a friend. But as its
very old, and rather beaten up, I've lost the code. Is there a master
code for the reset?

From the top of my head, Samsungs are usually 00000000.

Yep 8 Zero's worked. I thought it was going to get rid of the contacts
too but it hasn't, looks like I'll have to find another way to do that
then.

I didn't it just came up that way. Must be the gremlins at work.
