    Hi,

Good news for all vgsmail users and those looking for cheap and reliable
international texting services. I've just received this email from Goeff,
the current owner of vgsmail (<http://vgsmail.com/>):

    "Dear all,

Good news! I am now in the last stages of arranging a transfer of
ownership of vgsmail and so unless something goes very wrong it looks
like vgsmail will live on after 1 July. I won't give out any further
details at the moment, but I am very confident that the new owner will
continue to run vgsmail in the spirit in which it was started.

As a consequence, I have re-opened the 'purchase credits' page
(obviously new credits will be subject to the small risk that the
transfer does not go through at the last moment). The exact date of
hand-over is not yet known, but all current account balances will be
transfered to the new system. There will also be an option before the
transfer takes place for you to remove your account with your message
history from the system; I will announce this mechanism shortly.

Thank you all for your nice emails supporting vgsmail, and I very much
hope that you will continue to support vgsmail under the new
ownership; obviously the best thing you can do to help the new owner
will be to continue to send your messages through vgsmail and to pass
the word around that vgsmail is the best place to go for all your
    web-to-SMS needs .

    Geoff."

I wonder if it will be QX who will be taking over. Would make good
    sense.
