Hi,
i recently purchased this phone and wish to use the master clear and
reset features but it's asking me for a scurity code. does anyone know
what this is and where i might find it?
i have a virgin mobile joining pack and the card which the sim card is
place in give a 'default security pin' and a 'personal unlocking key'.
i have tried entering the former but the phone doesnt accept it. am i
overlooking something obvious i wonder?
i av also consulted the manual but that doesnt give any indication
either.
many thanks
ian edmont.

In your manual. Usually 6 zeroes for a Motorola.

Yes. The PIN is related to the SIM, not the handset.

I'd be very surprised if that were true.
