Just called Orange and the guy said that your line 1 is OVP Virgin and
line 2 is Everyday 50 and cause of that (line 1 is lower than line 2)
you not allowed to have it and hence going to disconnect line 2!!!!!

The guy was a huge prat cause at the beginning he said OVP virgin never
had any subsidy on handsets which we all know is false it did! Now I
know alot of people has got line 1 OVP virgin and line 2 Everyday 50
but I want to know in my mind was he right in that I should of never
had it, and it was done by mistake. Or was it like how I remember an
expection Orange allow Everyday 50 as line 2 with line 1 of OVP Virgin?

    Can anyone please advise.

I have the same set up, like may others. No problems here. He is right
about the original regulations but it was allowed, to many, and you
must, like me, have had that a very long time. I don't think that they
can just take it away just like that. Perhaps this guy has been
reading the rules and decided to flex his muscles. Orange, from what
people tell me, have started to be very rude to some customers. I am
sure they wouldn't mind losing ED50 customers but it is flawed
thinking. I went on Orange about 12 years ago because a friend was on
it - then about a dozen of his friends joined Orange for the same
reason - many of my friends and relations joined me etc. etc. Orange
have been rude to him and he is now considering leaving. The bad
publicity ripples through and others are starting to considering
    their position.

The official business rule is that you cannot have a higher talkplan on Line
2 than on Line 1, except if your Line 1 plan is OVP EQ Virgin. this has been
the rule for 6 years now. If someone tells you otherwise, then they are
    wrong.

is that still correct? Cause supposely by them line 2 has to be lower
than 1 and no expection with OVP EQ Virgin. (things change.) And they
will be now going round to people with line 1 Virgin line 2 Everyday 50
and cancel the line 2. But if you are correct in what are you saying
do you know where it was publish or something cause out of principle I
want to get my line 2 back or an apology on prinicipal.! Also to Brian
I agree with you entirely alot of ppl follow me on what network I tell
them so yes my everyday 50 might not make them money directly but
indirectly it does. Like a business just came in today who ask what
network I use / would recommend, do you think Orange was one of
them..... Line rental would be £300+...... per month

Likewise do you feel like I can tell friends / family to sign up to
Orange for free boardband cause you know 2 years ddown the line "oh
sorry we change busy you can't have broadband unless you have orange tv
as well, so we are going to disconnect your broadband straight away.
BEEEP there goes your email, and you were expecting an important email
to it.. That was also my main issue the fact he just cancel it on the
stop that could of been my main contact number, did not like offer me
to port the number, transfer it to pay as you go, change my line 1 to
talk 200 just said "your line 1 is OVP virgin your line 2 is Everyday
50 you not allow that I am going to disconnect line 2 and nothing you
can do about it. Cause it is additional service do not have to give
notice and we are entiteld to do so. beeep disconnected.

Still got my other two single line everyday 50 lines :-)

Reply to me via email with your mobile number. I will call you tomorrow and
see if I can do anything to help, as you should not have lost ED50 on Line
    2. If something has been applied, even in error, they cannot remove it
unless asked to by the customer.

See? Miracles CAN happen with Orange mate. Glad to see you got your Everyday

I'll believe it when I get the check I was promised after they charged
me for a service on a cancelled account. I've a feeling I'll have to
call my bank to make a complaint about them at the end of the week...
