    Hey guys,

Does anyone know if T-Mobile are likely to be bringing out anything
decent in the way of WM5 PDA phones in the next couple of months?
Currently, if I want built-in WiFi (which I do) my choices seem to be
the MDA Vario, which is OK but doesn't really entice me, or the MDA Pro,
which has a fantastic screen but is a little large!

The guy I spoke to at the local T-Mobile shop had no clue if there was
anything in the pipeline, but with things like the JAMin, hw6915, etc.
available SIM-free now, are there any plans to bring these out on T-Mobile?

Or do I just import an hw6828 or O2 Atom from Expansys, get a Vario on
T-Mobile, and sell the Vario on eBay to (partially) fund the better PDA?

    Cheers!

    A.

The Vario II (Hermes/TyTN/9600) is exactly what you want, and what I'm
waiting for. Not due until probably August/September though.

I've currently got the O2 equivalent of the MDA Pro, and it's
excellent, but as you say, a bit big. Battery life's a bit of a hog
    as well.

I'm being screwed into the ground on data charges with O2 at the
moment, so much that it's gonna pay me to let my account go idle for
the remainder of it's six months, after reducing to the lowest tariff
    - What I'd pay T-Mobile £7.50/mth for, I'm paying O2 £75 to £110.
Because of these silly punitive data charges, Push Email is simply not
    realistic on O2.

In the meantime, I'm awaiting delivery of the £7.50/month SIM-Only
contract (monthly contract, not yearly!) from T-Mobile, which will
tide me over for a couple of months, as I can slap the £7.50 unlimited
    webnwalk bundle onto it.

Researched that and you are right, that looks absolutely ideal for me.
Guess I'll have to wait on my Vodafone contract for a couple more months
    until it's released.

That sounds interesting - have you got a link for that offer? I
couldn't immediately find it on the T-Mobile website.

I'm in a similar situation to you, except that instead of paying
Vodafone lots of money for data, I just don't use data at all, which is
    a complete waste.

I'm amazed none of the other big service providers have brought out a
similar data package. Literally everyone at the company I work at
(admittedly an IT company!) is planning to switch to T-Mobile at renewal
time just because of their fantastic data tariff.

It's hard to find to be honest, I had to spend a bit of time going
through my favourite forums where I'm sure I seen reference to it.

Just added the unlimite data bundle to it about an hour ago, after the
    SIM arrived today.

    Joy of joys.

this is very interesting. an unlimited data plan for only £15/month that can
be cancelled with 30 days notice ! and also has 50 xnetwork minutes aswell.
think I'll be signing up for at least one of these...

Can you add the business data bundle to it?

If you mean the "WnW Pro bundle" then yes if you ask T-mobile CS. I had
no problems, other than someone going away briefly to ask. Some people
have reported CS may say you can't have it, it is "business only" or
they get confused with the "WnW Pro" which is the laptop card deal.

Thanks. That could be very useful.

I was even told that the data bundle I just added could be cancelled
with 30 days notice, but I told the kind Scottish lady that that would
    not be happening...
