How can I debrand a Vodafone Sony Ericsson K700i?
I assume I need a datacable (and can't be done through bluetooth).
I've seen the davinciteam website, and it makes me think that 10eur is a
lot to spend on a license to do this, when you also need to shell out
for a data cable. (another £10).
Is this the only way?

Well how else do you plan on doing it? It would never be possible
through bluetooth. If your phone came with a USB cable, perhaps you can
use that. 10 euros about £7, hardly much really.

£7 isn't much, £17 is a fair bit really. (Phone didn't come with a cable).
