I left my mobile phone which is on Vodafone network at other end of
country and will not be able to access it until friday.
i would like to do the following:
1) is there a number i can dial from another mobile phone (on Vodafone
network) or landline to access voice messages?
2) is there a no i can dial to divert calls from my phone at other end
of country to another mobile.
Regards
Steve

Yes, just ring your mobile, when it goes to voicemail, press # (i
belive) then enter your 4 digit pin code.

I think you must ring Voda to do this

Enter "voicemail" into the search box on the Vodafone site, and it tells
you:

Not that I know of - normally you'd do that from your own handset.
Maybe Customer Services can organise it if you phone them?

Re: retrieving my answerphone messages
Hi Steve,
If you've set up a voicemail security code previously, it's possible to
call your voice mailbox number from another phone listen to your
messages. To do this, you dial your mail box number and then press 9
during the voicemail greeting. You then enter your security code.
This lets you access your voicemail where you can listen to your
messages even when you haven't got your mobile on you. You'd find out
your mailbox number by entering * #104# and pressing send (again this
has to be done from your mobile).
To set a security code you would need to have done this previously by
calling 121 on your mobile and selected option 4 for your mailbox
settings, then option 2 for mailbox security which gives you access to
set up your four digit code.
There is a way to forward calls from your mobile to another UK number
but again this would have had to be arranged while you had access to
your mobile handset. If you have anybody who could set this up for you
then you could ask them to activate call forwarding. They'd do this by
entering * * 2 1 * (insert the number you want the call diverted to
here) # then press Send.
This might not enable you to access your voicemail now, as there are a
few things that you would have needed to check while your phone was
still in your possession. Hopefully though, if you ever need to access
your voicemail in the future while you're phone is out of your
possession, you should be ok.
Hope this helps.
