Hi all,
just a quick question, if you have you mobile stolen or loose it whilst
abroad will an imei block work if it is used wirh a different sim from an
overseas network ?

Different SIM shouldn't get around it. Depends on where overseas.

Are you asking say if you lost your UK phone in USA and you called your
UK provider to block the IMEI, and someone in the USA puts a US sim in
it? Well, first USA does not do IMEI blocking. So, they can use the
phone in the US. But, if they bring the phone to the UK, even with a US
sim, it will not be able to register on any of the networks that share
the same IMEI blocking database(DB). Now, if the US were to do IMEI
blocking and share the same DB as the UK networks, then the phone will
not work in the US either. At least this is that I think...
