Well it doesn't have to be through a 07744 number, any mobile number that
will route to 0871 will suffice.
Btw, is there anything particulary special about 07744 numbers because as
far as I'm concerned I can call any xnet number as part of my Anytime
allowance, so any mobile call through number will suffice.
Thanks again

Thanks. Looks like things have moved on. I just assumed all 07xxx numbers
were mobile numbers.
Btw, can I call 07744 numbers as part of my inclusive minutes on Orange (I'm
on the Panther tarriff).
Thanks

Not that I'm aware of, no.
In fact, although I can't find 07744 in the price guide
<http://www1.orange.co.uk/service_plans/downloads/pm_price_guides.pdf>
it does state 07050 (personal numbers) as being 55p per minute. 07050
are in the same category as 07744 "The "Find me anywhere" Range
(Convention B7)"
Perhaps someone here has rung an 07744 number and could double check
the cost on their bill?
Interestingly, it also states in the price guide that premium rate
numbers are charged at upto £1.70 per minute. I thought the maximum
allowed was £1.50..?

Re: Call thru numbers to 0870/0871
I have 2 orange cross network contracts and can confirm that calling
07744 number uses inclusive minutes and are not charge separately.
Bit of explaination here
