I've had one hang up on me before, I even knew who they were and I was
in the process of telling the caller that I'd already complained about
their previous breach of the TPS.

    who's annoyed them.......

    Yep,

....and it's amazing how my semi-detached house suddenly becomes a 2nd
floor flat when someone tries to sell me a conservatory.

I know someone who strung them along for several calls and was even
arranging for them to visit when at the last moment he mentioned that he
was on the 10th floor. He wasn't as he actually lives in a bungalow but
I wouldn't doubt that if he had nothing better to do he would talk to
someone who was cold calling for hours if he could get away with it.

Yeah, and of course they never ring you again.

    Get real.

These bloody cold calling outfits are a plague, and anything that screws
their business model is a good thing.
