I am hoping that Orange actually view these groups from time to time as
it seems they are trying thier very best to allienate thier custommers.
I run a small business and I have around 5 handsets and a couple of
data cards. It doesnt equate to much but its a fair chunk of money
which is gong to them monthly. What do I actually get for this? The
connection is variable to non existant in some areas of Kent, so much
so that some of my team have had to change to O2. When I want to do
anything with orange I have to phone 345 wich can take some time for
them to bother to answer (the record is 6 hours- oddly I gave up and
phoned new sales and got through straight away) When you want to change
anything on the account you have to fax- yes fax confirmation- they
cant accept email. To top it all you instruct them to do something and
everyone you speak to gives you diffrent answers to your questions so
much so that we transfred authority to a diffrent person- we were told
no fax was required and they confirmed full authority on all hand sets.
The new user calls immediately and is told that authority must be faxed
and they only have authority on one number and that one was not even
    thier own!!

~Rather than winge on about thier lack of service and total disregard
for thier customers I am moving my account elsewhere. If you are
looking to use orange as the provider for your business look else
where. Anyone suggest a good business network- preferably one that
    operates in the real world.

    Hi

I can put you with a Vodafone Business Service Provider currently
offering half price rental on lead handset for duration of 24 month
contract ie 5000 shared mins normally £420 now £210. Sharers £12.50
    each.

If you'd like to discuss further, my email is my full name at my
    business name dot com

(If you've got numbers you'd like to port, it's worth getting your PAC
code(s) asap, as this offer's not likely to be around for very long).

Switch to Vodafone, never had any problems with them. They provide what
they say and offer good deals for business users.

    Hi Ivor

My post was directed towards the OP, who actually asked for
recommendations of other networks, as he was unhappy with Orange.

    Relevant posts are not spam.

Re: Orange Business Services- sorry services is a bad description.

Our company (3-400 users) has just moved to Orange from 02. Most people
have complained bitterly about the drop in coverage and due to this
quite a few have taken the option to port to Vodafone.

I lost my business handset the other day, had to call Orange 'CS'
several times and followed all of their instructions. They then
declined my insurance, despite me doing what they said. When I pointed
this out to the agent, he said 'I can only apologise for the
information my colleagues have provided to you. It will cost £70 for a
replacement' IN THE SAME BREATH. Fortunately, my company will pay - but
    that's not the point.

It was the last straw with them: I was so disgusted, I immediately gave
them thirty days' notice on my personal contract. I'd been with them
for five years and spend about £800 per year. Orange is rubbish,
expensive and worse than Voda and 02 now which is clear by the number
of contract users deserting them. Steer well clear.

It's interesting to note quite a few long-standing users on here have
    left.

PS Anyone point me to any good websites for personal contracts on o2
    and Voda?
