I know this has probably been asked before, but a quick search of google
comes up with non Vodafone stuff.
I need to change the answerphone time out on vodafone. It seem to be
currently set for 10 seconds which does not always give you time to get to
the phone. Can I change it without calling 191
cheers

Yes have a look here for the codes:-

Your mailbox number can be found by keying *#104# <send> it will be in
+44 format.

Re: vodafone answerphone timeout
Hi Glenn
The default ring duration before the call diverts to voicemail on
Vodafone is 15 seconds. If you're on Pay As You Talk, you can't
alter this, but if you're on a contract you can (in 5 second
increments between a minimum of 5 seconds, and a maximum of 30
seconds.)
To do this key:
* 61 * + 44 (mail box number in international format) * 10 * (5 - 30
seconds) # Send
If you don't know your mailbox number, you can dial *#104# SEND, as
Spiderman says, from your phone.
Hope this helps.

Re: vodafone answerphone timeout
pay as you talk can do it now in the same way. only pay as you talk cant
divert calls to a number other than voicemail
you can also use 121 as the mailbox number and it will automatically change
to your personal voicemail number so
**61*121*30#
or replace 30 with 20 or 25 etc. for all customers
