I'm due an upgrade with O2. I currently have the XDA mini S which I'm not a
big fan of. Ideally I wanted the SE990i but it seems to have disappeared
into cyberspace so can anyone recommend a good new smart phone. I use the
PDA more than I do the actual phone so must have all the usual office
/internet features and a camera. I don't like blackberry.
Thanks

Ever though about a Palm?
Treo 650 and the newer Treo 700 range are very good.
Was looking at getting the Orange SPV M3100 recently, but just didn't like
the feel of it and didn't really see anything extra my current Treo 600 did.

Hi
What is it that you don't like about the xda mini s? I have tried the
spv m3100 but it is too bulky for me (I don't need a keyboard) and
while much faster than the wizard (xda mini s), still not as fast as my
magician (spv m500).
The new xda orbit (redesigned htc artemis) seems ok if you don't need a
keyboard or 3g and if you don't mind the same processor speed as the
wizard - it also has gps receiver and fm radio.
If you say what you *don't* like about the wizard and the blackberry,
it would be easier to advise.

Well for one thing it's the 2nd one I've had - the other just completely
crashed and wouldn't turn on at all. Also it is terribly slow. it takes ages
to get a word doc up, even a txt one, or to start the camera program etc.
Not overly keen on the slide out keyboard either - prefer the SE flip one.
Re the Blackberry, they seem quite bulky and I don't want to pay a regular
subscription for email and internet access. I also want to keep to O2 if
possible
