My Nokia E61 on the 3 network is due to arrive on Tuesday.
Does anyone have any experiences of the E61 on the 3 network?
I assume the software will still permit it to use the WiFi network
while at home for web browsing.

I cannot answer your question, but I am interested in this using the phone
on WIFI network. If you were able to log onto your router, can you browse
the net for free? Is it only certain phones that have this?

I had a visit from my brother today who has a Nokia N80 and had a
play. I could configure a wireless access point as my Wireless
Network at home and it did indeed connect to t'internet using my
broadband connection.
Only certain mobile phones can do this. The Nokia N70 and the Nokia
E61 are both capable of doing this.
My query relating to the E61 on the 3 network was relating to its
custom firmware, however, I will post a mini-review about it when I
have it in my hot little hands.

Re: Nokia E61 on Three
I did notice with my N73 on 3 that they have disabled the Settings Wizard.

Ooh, what does one change in there? Not things like Wireless access
points, by any chance?

Re: Nokia E61 on Three
Not sure, but can still add a new access connection from the Settings, think
the Settings Wizard is for setting up email?

Ahh, so Three have crippled the 'email on the move' phone. <sigh>
