    the com port is 4 and the baud rate is 4800

    It's definitely on port 4 and I suspect the baud is autosensing. WRT
    the OP's comment, you shouldn't need to use the Windows Mobile GPS
    settings - AIUI, that's for setting up a virtual port so as multiple
    apps can access GPS data at once. You *can* use it of course, but make
    sure you set the 'real' GPS port to be port 4.

    yer don't change any of the 'phone ' settings just pick port 4 in the
    GPS config settings inside TT6
