At power on, for new combination of imsi and imei ( new set and new
sim) , does the mobile set ( normal nokia and sony ericsson sets
available in the market) do a gprs attach, or does it need to have
gprs settings in it and 'always on' option checkd for it to do a gprs
attach?

my understanding is that it does a gprs attached whether or not it has
the settings and the always on option checked.
