    It's not uncommon for ISPs to silently redirect outgoing port 25 (SMTP)
    requests to their own SMTP services. This is, they tell us, to stop
    spam problems. Causes havoc with SMTP Auth etc.

    Sounds like O2 and Three are doing the same for some reason.

    Three's technical slugs are well known, but I wasn't aware O2 were doing the
    same.
