Going to europe for a few months tommorow, taking my T-mobile pay as i go
sim, it's ok for use abroad, but of course i'll be charged sommat like 55p a
minute to recieve calls, and i think it's the same to make them... dependant
on which network i'm on i guess.
They have this uk-abroad country saver thing i can add to my account for an
admin charge of £7.50,
But i can't find much info on what exactly it is, i read some very basic
info about some call saver thing for use abroad.. but they also do one for
calling abroad from the uk with my mobile,
Anyone know what i need to do to get slightly cheaper call rates and
especialy recieve call rates when we're abroad.
I do not want to use a call back sim ever again, and really cant be arsed
with calling cards or owt, i dont make that many calls anyway, and only one
number will be phoning me,
I just want to make it a bit cheaper to recieve calls from the UK, and call
a single number in the UK from France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and
possibly Switzerland and Poland.

Get either Vodafone or O2 payg SIM instead.
On O2, look at adding My Europe Extra - this costs £10 a month, then
incoming calls are free, outgoing 25p.
If you can talk yourself into callback after all, then look at
ReturnCall - you can call UK landlines for 2p/min, mobiles 9p. Or the
new sms callback from Voipcheap at about 6p/min
If you won't make enough use to justify the £10/month, then just My
Europe which is free, then both incoming and outgoing calls are 35p/
min
Or Vodafone Passport - same tariffs as at home, 30p/10p or whatever,
0p incoming, plus a 75p connect fee per call.
