Hi,
I have recently got a Web and Walk sim card from T-Mobile and want to
know what are the gotchas in using a 3G
card bought from Ebay which might not be a T-mobile Data card? Also
what should I be looking for/questions to ask.
Basically I want to be able to surf from my laptop as easily as
possible, I do not have a 3G phone (Orange SPV M600) so using that is
not really an option.
TIA

I recently swapped my vodafone data card contract for a T-Mobile Tytn
contract and was able to use my TMobile sim in the vodafone 3G card without
any problems. All I had to do was download and install the Globetrotter
software unfortunately, the URL it came from is no longer active, :-(
The UK T-Mobile site looks like it has the software available for download @
http://tinyurl.com/2moov3, and choose the Option Mobility Manager.

If you use a laptop or IM, you're supposed to be on the Web n Walk
Plus tariff.
