I've had a problem with my on line Orange account for a while. Have thought
of ringing Orange but it's a difficult one to explain over the phone
especially if I get someone at an Indian call centre!!!!

For some time I have only been able to access my pay monthly account by
signing in using a pay as you go number that I last used regularly about two
years ago. I can sign into the pay as you go account by signing into the
monthly account. In addition to this I've added a former o2 number to the
pay monthly account and I can't register this number for some odd reason
(maybe because the number was register with Orange when they allowed other
networks phones to have an Orange email address!)

I think this happened because I swapped the email addresses over about two
years ago and whilst the email addresses moved OK the account details didn't

I don't really mind signing into my account using the 'wrong number' but it
does seem a bit odd that I can do this.

    I could ring 439 but:
    1. Don't want to pay 50p a minute
    2. May not get a satisfactory response.

So is there anyway that I can sort this out by email, letter or online.

    Any ideas?

    Tim

Bite the bullet and 439 it, They are the only ones who have access to
the web type stuff. You wont' be able to escalate until you've been
    through the basic steps first.

I'll have a think about it but as I am sure you can imagine don't want to
open a can of worms when I already have a work around!!

Try emailing the webmaster at orange.co.uk - I did that recently and the
acknowledgement said I had to ring the premium number if it was account
related. But I did get a fix and a message (via Orange answering
    service) a few days later.

[email protected] also have access to the 439 stuff and it may
be easier to explain to them. From experience of my various O.Net logins
going wrong at the start of this year, you'll likely get it sorted
eventually, but it took me a few months to work my way through the "fix one
    problem, create another" scenario.

    Regards

    Jon.

Seems to be what has happened? Customer services offered to reset my
accounts and I gave them the details. They then got me to re register. Which
I did. After about 2 hours I could only sign into the accounts using the
wrong numbers. A number signs into B account and vice versa!!
Email was working Ok but is now flaky (although that may be normal!!!)

Have emailed them back so will what the usual few days for a reply......!!!

    Arghhh!!!
