    Hi All,

I have been with o2 since 2003 and have renewed my contract every
year, anyway my existing upgrade ends in october and im am thinking of
getting the iPhone! Does anybody know if o2 will offer me a cheaper
tarriff than the ones advertised, not worried about the price of the
iPhone -would rather have a cheaper tarriff!!!

    thanks

They're bringing out a new one for £30 to go with the new iPhone.
You've got to consider that these tariffs all include unlimited browsing
and hotspot access as well though, I don't think £30 is to bed tbh.

I dont understand what the 'stitch up' is? Do you mean the contract that o2
is offering for the 3g phone is a poor one?

It isnt the best, and looks a bit weak compared to the flext promotion
running with tmobile at the moment, but it isnt an awful deal.

For £35 per month you get an 8gb iphone on an 18 month contract.

    600 mins
    500 texts
unlimited data and wifi (as mentioned, access to the wifi hotspots around
    the country for your laptop).

What else is should we watch out for?

i never agree to contracts over the phone - the only way i do is if i
phone up o2 and i go through the 100 so i know i am speaking to o2 -
not some scamming mobile phone retailer!!!! Personally i think it is a
good deal that o2 are offering and have o2 not ran out of 1st gen
    iPhones now!!!!

i dont even mind paying for it as it willd deter some people from
buying it - and because it is manufactured by apple i know i am
getting value for money!!! and i wont have to carry my iPod and
    miss all my telephone calls!!!!!

Seeing as there's no stock of any new iPhones at all anywhere in the
world it would be really bad luck to get the wrong one sent.
