It looks like Orange are now giving their PAYG customers the childish
touch.... In which case, I want the 'Little Fluffy Mouse' tarriff please!!!

What sort of TW*T thought this childish idea up?

I think time has come to move away from Orange and take my phone service
with someone who doesn't use childish names
    for their tarriffs.

Orange set up a dept to spent over a million quid and take over a year to
    develop animal tariffs.

After losing millions of contract customers with it, the execs responsible
are now determined to make it work on PAYT.
They have to, their reason to exist and collect enormous pay packets depends
    on it.

I suspect one of them as a student glanced at a copy of Sigmund Freuds
totems and taboos, but didn't get as far as to read about how animal totems
    are infantile

So what will happen is they'll lose a few million more PAYT customers,
to networks like 3 with their very simple to understand flat 12,
before they finally get the boot.

Which all goes to show just out of touch with reality FT Orange execs
    have got since Snook left

    OK then, childish expensive tariffs!

I just have two Orange PAYG phones left to move off Orange...having
reviewed the spending over the past two years, I'd be better of on a 3
contract tariff (and get a couple of other major advantages too).

Ah, yes, the good old days with Hans Snook.
Wasn't he the man who said, in so many words, that mobile phone
customers were being ripped off and he wanted to see some fair
    tariffs?

Well I guess it will lose them plenty of customers on PAYG too....
Its pathetic. I'm off, they can keep their childish and expensive tarriffs.

I have to agree, Orange used to be fantastic, all the fancy services and
products, wildfire was fabulous, why they ever got rid of that I don't
know, I moved to Voda after being with Orange for a long time, and
whilst the reception and customer service were generally better, they
    hardly have any interesting services.

I'm with 3 now, and the amount of gadgets and services they've got is
    boggling!

My main phone is now on 3, but apart from 3s planet wap, additional
services are lacking they could have services like Line 2 and everyphone

Which is what the lost Orange services like line 2 and Everyphone did,
actually improve chances of getting or making a call.

It is aimed at unsphisticated users, who don't choose their phone or tarrif
    rationally.

Ahh, so a racoon is a North American fury thing, and a dolphin lives in the
    sea...

Cheers for that!! Don't know what I'd do without you! :-)

I suspect some third rate commercial psychologist convinced Orange
that cuddly wuddly animal symbols would appeal to the unconscious mind
    of Orange victims (sorry customers)

Probably the same twat that convinced Pizzaland to paint their restaurants
    puke green
Pizzaland? who they? exactly, they've folded up.

A advertising agency friend tells me it's folk law in their industry that
    the BA
ad with Greek urns, where all their passengers are shown as idiots cos they
all have a worthless fake Greek urn in their hand luggage, is known as the
worst ad in history and is taught as an object lesson on how not to do it.

Never make your buying public look fools.

Well Orange is now number two, making the same mistake by making film
stars look prats, by moronic Orange film execs

It's funny for 5 seconds and humiliatingly bad for Oranges image the rest

Your smartarse post neatly illustrates ChrisM's point - what on earth
have the names of the tariffs got to do with what service one can expect
    from the tariff?
