Having just read the small (and I mean very small) print in a current ad I
see that Vodafone "unlimited" internet and email is actually currently
    limited to 500MB a month!

This makes a mockery of the term "unlimited" according to any, even a
    generous, interpetration of 500MB.

Vodafone doesn't seem to care about previous criticisms of its advertising
    practice:

It's amazing that they still engage in this practice.

It's gone up, then. When they went from 120 to 200Mb a few months ago
they described it as "unlimited"! It must have gone up again since.

The ASA do allow companies to lie and mislead the public - especially if
    they
think the company in question has enough money to fight. Years ago I had to
complain about Tiscali, the ASA wrote back stating that the Law didn't apply
in certain cases! I kept asking them to clarify this but they refused. So
    it's OK
to lie, mislead and put up false adverts if approved by the ASA first.

I was looking at the Vodafone IRL website recently and was surprised that
roaming data charges are the same as at home. This is on one of the web
    pages.

"What about roaming and Mobile Internet?
Vodafone Mobile Internet is the same price when roaming abroad as at home.
The service will be accessible from any country where we have a 3G or GPRS
    roaming agreement."

In Ireland there seems to be a daily cap of 99c for up to 50MB.
