I have a Nokia E61 on T-Mobile. It was on contract until June, then I
negotiated a new £10 monthly package without the Web'n'Walk monthly option.
All was well until yesterday: I noticed that they still showed the monthly
Web charge on my on-line bill, so called for it to be removed, and asked
for a refund. I said that I had previously said I was happy to use the £1
daily max charge for those days when I needed it. They agreed to this.
However, since that call I have been unable to access the Web at all: no
browsing, no e-mail access. I called them yesterday, and they said I should
have Net access, but check again today. No change. I sent an e-mail early
today, and I'm awaiting a response. I've just checked the phone with the
T-Mobile SIM from my USB modem, and there is no problem there, so it's not
the phone. Is it possible that they have switched off Net access? The
display still shows '3G' etc.
