    My contract is due to expire.I don't use my phone that much - mainly texts
    and occasional internet browsing. Are the deals offering a free wii worth
    considering do you think?

    Not sure what 'deals' you are talking about, but;
    You'd have to work out how much the contract is going to cost you less the
    value you will get from the contract.

    If that works out at less than the cost of buying a Wii outright then it's
    worth considering...
    Make sure you read the small print of the contract too, what EXACTLY do you
    have to do to qualify, does it involve sending bills into the provider (like
    cash back offers), if it does, tread a little carefully.
