Figured I'd use up some of my o2 inclusive minutes to non-geo whist I
still have them.
According to one of Asdas CS monkeys:
0845 changed at their standard rate.
0870 charged at 35ppm.
0800/0808/0844 charged anywhere from 35ppm to 60ppm depending on the
number.
All incur the 8p call connection charge.
Also Tesco charge 08 non-geo at their standard rates depending on
which tariff you have with them.

Before anyone flames me, I know I could probably find the answer on their
website, but I don't have access to the Web at the moment, just this
newsgroup...
Anyone know what payment options Asda offer? With Virgin, I have a bundle
that costs me £10/month that gives me 300 texts and 300 minutes. It's paid
by direct debit and any extra charges are just taken as part of the DD. This
is good for me as I don't need to remember to keep my account topped up...
Does Asda offer anything like this, or is it a case of buying and applying
top-ups at cashpoints/in shop/online perioidcally to keep it 'charged up'?
Also, does the topped up money expire, or can you put (say) £50 on, and keep
going until it's all used up?

Wait I can think of a reason, if you are using a 3g phone and Sim on Voda,
that would then roam between Voda 3g and 2g, if 3g not available
A Virtual on Voda may only have 2g privileges, so not get Voda 3g coverage

IIRC no DD but you can register a credit or debt card with them and
topup when needed via their helpline. Also don't expect rival
supermarkets to accept the topup swipe card.
At the moment if you topup instore or use the helpline you get 10%
extra, not sure if this will be carried forward to the new price plan.
Standard 180 days without a chargeable call or topping up before
suspension/disconnection, if reconnecting after
suspension/disconnection then any credit that was on the account will
be reapplied however they cannot guarantee the phone number will be
the same.

If you register your phone, via the helpful staff based in the Isle Of
Bute, you can give them your card details and set up a PIN which
allows you to topup the phone via the Asda menu on your phone - you
don't need to speak to anyone you just follow the menus and you can
topup any amount in units of five or ten pounds from five pounds
upwards.
I presume if you topup before 1 Sept you'll get the extra 10% - I did
it yesterday and I certainly got it
