Never having had a PAYG phone, I was thinking much along the same lines
as you, "what, I can only buy a new phone every six months?" though that
might be the way you phrased the question.
In which case Buy a new phone and swap the Sim <> Upgrade
But I don't have PAYG so I don't care.
