Beware of the mobile text pests
There has been an alarming growth in the number of people ripped off by
premium-rate phone services
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/mon...cle5002795.ece
Pity the article didn't mention that T-Mobile and Vodafone (and also
reportedly Tesco - or whichever network they use) offer premium SMS
blocking.

Tesco use O2 and yes they offer both reverse text and premium rate (09xx)
phone call barring.

None of the others will as it is a source of income and they get a cut from
each reverse message and demands to "STOP"! Similar to the way networks
will not block mobile phones they know to be stolen being used on their
networks. They can be identified very easily and cross references made
between the SIM and IMEI, also numbers associated with them.
