    What are you saying?
That you want a device(phone?) that will receive a copy of all texts
received by and sent to your wifes phone??
Don't think such a thing is possible, doing it covertly is probably
    illegal...!

It certainly is possible, but you could only do it with cooperation from the
network. I think the answer to the OP is "no, you can't". He'd have more
luck by installing some sort of 'spyware' on her phone to do his bidding
for him. I wouldn't be surprised if such a thing exists.

A slightly more low-tech and haphazard approach could be to covertly change
the address book entry for the suspected partner in crime to a number under
his control. It would only work for a while, but perhaps that's long
    enough.

Another approach might be to pair her phone with his PC via Bluetooth and
use what software comes with it to retrieve the contents of the SMS inbox
    on a regular basis.

You, and anyone facilitating your activity would be committing a
    criminal tort.

Get an O2 SIM and register for 'bluebook' on the O2 website. You can
then log in to your online area and view all texts sent and recieved
online - if thats the kind of thing you mean?

there is probably a business package of shared phones that probably does
this already, stop being so emotional, many married folks have been
caught out by their texts!! and quite right too...

Just a mad idea? Wow, great to hear how much faith you have in your wife's
fidelity. I wonder if she peruses newsgroups? It'd be a real laugh if she
    read this lot.
