hello,
i got a chinese "iphone" which i am not able to identify. i tried to uncover
it by windows active sync and other mobile software without success. the
site of my sim provider, TIM, tells me it is a
QUANTA-COMPUTER - O2-XDA-COMET device but, knowing my provider's fallacy, i
am not sure about that.
is there a system to identify it through windows?
ah, i almost forgot, when connecting the phone to the usb port, i hear the
sound that windows has recognised the new device, but the automatic hardware
installation does not work.
regards

Which is the phone I first pointed you to.
> so i just need to find out the software to connect it, do i not?
If it is running Windows-Mobile 6/6.1, then you need Activesync (for
Windows-XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (for Windows-Vista).
see:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...ice-synch.mspx
Questions about the phone are better posted on:
microsoft.public.pocketpc
Questions about synchronisation should be posted to:
microsoft.public.activesync
