I bought a sim card off eBay as I was told I would get £10 credit when
    I registered.
I did so and when I phoned Orange they confirmed my phone would be
credited in 2 weeks it wasn't and conveniently for Orange they have no
    record of it either.

Why buy a SIM from eBay? They are free in Orange shops.

Registration (i.e. giving your name and address) credit bonus is £1, are
you sure there wasn't a typo on the ebay listing?

And what do you expect anyone here to do about it?

£1? My experience is that they will give you the SIM but insist that you
load it with £10 there and then.

Or do you know something different?

I've seen Orange SIMS on e-bay that come with £10 credit pre loaded
but they are already regestrered, not sure what the deal is with them
but they were for sale for around £3.00 ISTR.

BTW Im still waiting for my credit bonus on my Orange SIM ordered free
from the Orange website and that regestrered at the beginning of
December, must challange them on that when im at a loose end.

Not heard of 10quid bonus on Orange PAYG Sims, but
http://www.lycamobile.co.uk/ who are a Virtual on Orange do offer
50% extra if you do a 20quid top up, and their rates are generally lower
    than Orange

Yes, I do know differently :-) The cards are free, on condition that a
top-up is applied. Minimum top-up is £5. Full registration, i.e. giving
your name and address, yields a bonus of £1 but is not mandatory.
Selecting an animal reward tariff does not require full registration
    either.

That's odd - only yesterday an Orange shop told me the minimum top-up
when obtaining a SIM is £10?
