O2 sent me a PAYG Sim Card

I have a contract with O2. Just before Christmas, they sent me a PAYG
Sim Card. I think.

Something with a new number asking me to register it.

What's that about?

Actually I can't remember if it was a replacement sim with extra gumph
or a PAYG sim.

either way, I didn't request it.

Any thoughts?

Mid last year O2 sent me one P&G SIM card at my request.

It went in a phone that was in a car I bought.

Two days ago O2 sent me four more completely unsolicited. I have "emailed"
to query why.

Some sort of inertia sell probably.
