Ok so I have a Verizon Samsung A790 now i've done my research and im almost 100% sure what I need to do. Now I already went to the USCC store and managed to get someone to enter the ESN onto my account for that phone but the NAM was not programmed and he couldnt figure out how to do so. But I have figured out how to access the NAM and have changed the phone number to mine. Only im not sure if that is all that I have to do, cause you cant *228 the phone cause it calls verizon for activation.
So here is my question, do I need to change anything else in NAM before I try to change the ESN again? Cause as im sure you all know it takes alot of driving from store to store to find a person who will activate a verizon phone so I dont want to be unprepared this time. Plus when the rep put the ESN into my account USCC recognized it as a LG phone when its in fact a Samsung will that cause a problem aswell?
I posted all the NAM settings bellow for the phone I want to activate. I also cant get into my current phone to check its settings cause of USCC's lock code. I press Menu *, 5 on my current phone then It asks for a lock code and that code is not 000000 so I cant copy the network settings.
I also heard the Verizon can tell that the phone is being used my a different carrier and can stop the phone from working is this true?

Nam Settings:

CDMA Pri Chn A: 283

Please if you can help me out thanks!
