    Windows Mobile is, well, different.

It's not Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 98. It's Windows Mobile.

There are some really odd things that you need to get used too.
    .CAB are program install files
.EXE are still executable files, but you can't copy over your EXE from your PC and expect it to work with Windows Mobile.
.JPG / .GIF / .PNG open a picture viewer (as well as most other picture formats)
It does come with basic PDF viewing built in, using Pixel (*****ing?) viewer.
MP3, AVI / audio / video files open Windows Media Player.
    DOC/XLS/PPT open with Office Mobile

Things that can't be used on a factory Windows Mobile Cell Phone (without addon software, that is) are .JAR, MP4, PSD.
