LG Electronics Mobile Communications has an immediate opportunity for a Mobile Applications Specialist at our San Diego, CA location (Scripps Ranch). As a member of the Business Development team, you will play a key role in the identification, evaluation and realization of innovative application and services for next generation mobile devices.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor the market to identify new and innovative applications, services and technologies to advance the company’s products. Provide monthly reports on key findings.
• Perform technical evaluations of 3rd party solutions and make recommendations for potential partnerships
• Provide technical expertise to vendors to support the early development of key applications and services
• Drive innovation by working closely with application developers to create unique and value added differentiation that will exceed consumers’ expectations.
• Support associated application and services efforts with corporate headquarters.

Qualifications:
Must have minimum Bachelor's degree and minimum 3-5 years work experience in mobile application development. Possess a solid understanding of Android, Windows Mobile, Java and BREW platforms. Must have prior experience bringing mobile applications to the market. Prior experience supporting and managing application vendors is a plus. Candidate should demonstrate a strong passion for innovation. Excellent communication skills. Requires 15 percent travel.
