Changing Numbers or Custom Number?

I recently signed up with Cingular but don't like my phone number. How is
Cingular in allowing phone number changes -- perhaps trying to select a
phone number from within the group available that you like? Fees? Thanks.

they use to charge 35 to change your number or to custom one if they have it
