the T68 doesn't support java and you cannot write software for it.
Sorry. But beside that it's more than excellent for a phone.

Try looking at the P800 or T610, they might bring luck but I'm not sure.

Re: Programming the T68i
Who said you cant program it? If it has software that is flashable you can
program it, not that I know how to do this but I would love to get my hands
in the internal software for this phone (and the means to program it. As for
the bluetooth you can find the AT commands (ie. using bluetooth serial
connection) on the Ericsson Mobility Webpage via www.sonyericsson.com. Hope
this partly helps.

Yeah. So you can download some software from the sony ericsson
website to flash upgrade your phone. Has anyone looked at how this
works? What information is available as to the hardware of the T68i?
I assume it contains an ARM, so in theory it is possible to write your
own software for it and flash it to the phone. Haven't had much luck
looking on google to see if anyone else has tried this. Difficult to
say as I don't actually have access to a T68i, but I thought that as
you can pick them up sim-free on ebay for about 60 quid now it might
be fun to play around with them.
If anyone knows anything about doing this kind of stuff with this, or
any other phone, I'd be interested to see what's been tried already.

Had a quick look for this, couldn't instantly find it. Where abouts
is it? I'll have another look later.

The URL is

You might have to be a member to access it (Membership is free btw)
