My first "Internet capable" cell phone so please be patient with a noob
question.

I bought a Razr V3 from T-Mobile on a prepaid plan. (suites my usage best)

Everything seems to work as expected except when trying to reach any Web
address other than those preprogrammed in the phone. (My Account Info, Get
More etc.. these work fine)

When attempting to use the "go to URL" function I enter (for example)
www.google.com or http://www.google.com and get a "could not resolve URL"
error. I get this error from any site I've tried. I have over 1000 units of
airtime. E-mail in and out work fine.

Is this because I'm using prepaid or is there perhaps something I'm not
doing right or don't understand about using the Web on a cell phone?
