Is it dead ???

my mrs has a Nokia 3310 .......well, she did till she dropped it today......

when she switches it on.......you get the normal start up nokia logo......it
then loads her personalised screen .....
then when she goes to make a call ...she dials number and then
WHOOOSH........

it's gone off.....

is there anything that can be done or is it time for a nokia
funeral.......bear in mind a new nokia will cost £60 on 02 so a repair cost
might be just as expensive......

maybe the batterie is damaged, or really old?
try replacing it.

Don't know if its the same but my wife has a 3510i which she dropped.
whenever she tried to get into her contacts or ringtones it would just go
back to the start up screen.
Took it to nokia service center who updated the software and it now works
fine.

It's ****ed. Just get a new 3310 they're cheap enough now.
