Unlike other phones I see, the I855 won't let me set recordings or audio recieved through text messaging as ringtones. I know they really want me to spend $3 on ringtones but I definetly won't. Does anyone know how to do this or would I have to do something with a data cable?? Any Help is appreciated

Re: Ringtone Question
Ok well I've looked into numerous forums with the same question and have seen no answers and not even questions about this....I just emailed the Boost Support staff with all my questions regarding the I855. Here's the email:
Yesterday I purchased an I855 from Radioshack and have noticed that it won't allow me to set recordings or audio recieved via text message or email as ringtones, is this possible, if it is how can I do it? I know the description from the BoostMobile Website states "Incoming calls, messages notifications, call alerts, and datebook reminders can be assigned AS ringtones" and the Radioshack site claims the phone "can support MP3 and voice ringtones." I'm just wondering what do I do to be able to do it?
I've also heard that, using a data cable, you can upload ringtones/wallpapers onto your phone with a computer, I'm wondering what kind of format/compression the audio/wallpapers have to be to so that the phone will allow them to be assigned.
I have a MIDI format ringtone that is kept in the media center and I can't figure out how to assign it as a ringtone...possible??
Also, whenever I use the Boost Web feature (searching for ringtones etc.) the phone saves a history of what I type (like autocomplete), and I don't know how to delete it or to set the phone so it doesn't do that. Is there a way to? (its more annoyance than anything.....)
Lastly, whenever I recieve text messages they end up in the SMS inbox which won't allow me to reply or to even see who text messaged me, Is this due to phone settings and how do I change it? On my older phone the I215 text messages were considered Net Alerts....if text messages are SMS then what's a Net Alert?
Thank you for any and all help.
I just wanted to know if anyone on this forum could answer any of these questions.....
