Back Up Applications:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Tap “Menu” and if necessary, switch to “List view”
  4. Under “Device” tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Enable “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts:

  1. Access the “Settings” menu
  2. If necessary, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view”
  3. Swipe to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “LG Backup”
  5. Tap “Backup & restore” > “Back up data”
  6. Select “LG Cloud” and sign in with your LG account
  7. Select “Personal data” and deselect all the other options
  8. Open the “Personal data” folder and make sure “Contacts” is selected
  9. Tap “Start”
  10. Once you are prompted with the “Back up completed” pop-up, tap “Done”

Back Up Data on the SD Storage:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Switch to “List view” from the menu, if necessary
  3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
  5. Tap “Back up data” > “SD Card”
  6. Select the files you want to back up and tap “Start”
  7. At the “Backup completed” message, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files On Your Phone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “List view”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Device”
  4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
  5. Select “Media data” and clear all the other options
  6. Expand the “Media data” directory and select the media files you want to back up
  7. Tap “Start”
  8. Tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files On Your Computer:

  1. Connect the LG Class to your computer via USB
  2. When prompted, select “Media sync (MTP)”
  3. Launch an Explorer window on the computer
  4. Locate the media files or the desired “.sbf” backup file on the phone
  5. Copy the items you want to back up and transfer them on your computer storage
  6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and disconnect the device from the USB connector
