    I am giving my Motorola V176 to a friend....problem. I can't erase the phonebook. I follow the menu and delete but the numbers are still listed! HELP.

    While in the phone book, push the center select button, a menu will pop up, the scroll down to delete, push select button, then yes button. THat's it

    go to initial settings, look for master reset.
