I've noticed a lot of discussion concerning PTT services, as Nextel and Sprint have merged, Cingular is offering it, and people are waiting for a possible T-Mobile launch in the US.

I've often wondered why cell users are so intrigued by the concept of PTT. If you've read other posts by me, you'll know I'm not a huge fan of this service, but I know tons and tons of users are.

So my point, let's have a discussion about your thoughts/opinions on PTT.
