Hello everyone. I searched google for a good cell phone forum because I have a problem. I visit about 6 other forums regularly and have over 1,000 posts at each place, so I'm not a forum newb. My problem is: Whenever I use the camera on my C2000, there is a little pink strip (with some blue in it) that is somewhat transparent but annoying nevertheless. I didn't drop it or anything, I just powered it up this morning and that's what was happening. After I take the picture, the picture turns out fine, It's just that while trying to take it, you can't see the top 1/4 of the screen.

I'll let you know how things go, and I'll stick around and not ask a question and get a good reply and leave.

    Thanks for your consideration,

The pink arrow is there as long as the phone is uploading a picture. Do not shut off the phone until that pink arrow is gone.

It's not a pink arrow. It's a strip. And it doesn't go away. And it's not loading.

    Thanks for they reply, though.

Don't know if this helps a ton, but that exact thing happened to my 2000 for ~2-3 days, kind of annoyed me. But it went away on its own less then a week after it appeared.

More proof that procrastinating solves all the worlds problems.

Well it's gone for me now, too. Just took a few days.

    Weird.

NOTE: A mod or admin can delete this thread if they want. I'm leaving it and my problem solved itself. Thanks for the help, though!

Mine did the same thing less than a week after I bought it. Except as soon as the purple/blue line vanished, my phone wouldn't allow me to take any pics... said the camera memory was full - problem with that was that I had no saved pics in my camera memory.

I contacted LG and they said they'd never heard of a problem like that, said I must have gotten a defective phone, apologized, and told me to either go back to the store I bought it or send it to them for an exchange.

I went to the store, got a replacement, and after about one week the NEW one did the exact same. Called LG again, they said the same thing they did the first time I called - insisted they'd never heard of this problem (sorry, I don't believe them)... so I returned the 2nd phone - except I replaced it with a Motorola, not another LG.

Honestly, after my experience, I wouldn't own another LG. They may very well make great phones, but you couldn't convince me of it. My new Motorola V551 cost a few buck more, but does so much more and is easier to use.
